To mark International Women’s Day, the team at Apple Birmingham came together to raise vital funds for Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid (BSWA)
As part of their efforts, the Apple team organised and took part in a night walk around Birmingham City Centre, symbolising solidarity with women who experience domestic abuse and often feel unsafe in public spaces. The walk was a powerful gesture, reminding us of the importance of reclaiming space and raising awareness about violence against women and girls.
We were also invited into the store, where we had the pleasure of speaking to the team about the work we do across Birmingham and Solihull. The session covered the wide range of support BSWA offers, including refuge accommodation, community outreach, and advocacy services, and highlighted the real impact of community-driven support. A heartfelt thank you to Apple Birmingham for standing with us.
